Care to elaborate?

It goes back to the sense of disappointment on the Left after Obama was in office for a few months and turned out to be exactly what he campaigned as - an economic moderate and a slightly left of center socially president. Many expected him to turn into this flaming socialist and were massively disappointed when he didn’t. This lead to the curbstomping we took in 2010 as the disappointed stayed home like the spoiled brats they were. I wasn’t surprised then as I’d been listening to what he said not what was being projected upon him.

I think they’re arguing that this sense of “Why won’t he do more” is simply more of the same projection and that he is being the same president he always was and is more concerned with protecting the nation as a whole than pandering to people.
