Last night, I decided to watch some old James Bond movies I don’t remember ever seeing. First up: Diamonds Are Forever (1971).
Horrible. It looked like a TV movie, and I could tell Connery was just phoning in his performance, because by that time he’d already decided to quit as 007. Also, the two guys playing the hitmen were portrayed as gay, but in such offensive, stereotypic ways I can understand why this flick is rarely seen on cable now.
Seeing Jill St. John in a bikini was a plus, though.
