Hi sattv4u2! Back in the mid-80’s, I was the broadcast director for a satellite delivered medical television network. IIRC, my budget for one 24/7 C band transponder and one 6 hr/5 day Ku band transponder was about $3.7 million. If Fox is getting transponder time for $150,000 month - that’s about $1.8 million a year. Unless my math is off - sat time is a pretty good value for money, compared to 25 years ago. Is that right?
