The claim doesn’t have to be true. It only has to act as a distraction so Fox viewers won’t begin to think about the shutdown and the failure they put in the WH. I suspect Watters and others on Fox who have been making the claim know it’s a lie, but they’re getting paid to lie and run interference for the ignorant behind “leader” in the WH. They seem to be totally unaware that millions of us know they’re lying and that they suck at logic.
