100% agree. Trump will do damage, but he is a bumbling fool who can’t find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flashlight (h/t Aaron Sorkin, The American President, 1995). Trump has no ideology and can change positions on the head of a pin. While he twists in the wind, very little gets done.

Pence, on the other hand, is a seasoned politician with a clear dominionist agenda. If he makes it to the white house and the Rs still have a majority in the house and senate…..shudder!

From what I understand, Indiana would have serious issues with you thinking he’s competent. Plus, stuff would still have to make it to his desk, and you’d have to come up with an instance of a bill getting to him that he’d sign that Trump wouldn’t.
