1991 was cool because you had two worst to first teams and then you had an epic pitchers’ duel in Game 7 between a guy who idolized the other guy pitching. And now both Jack Morris and John Smoltz are in Cooperstown together. I’ll put 2011- Rangers-Cardinals in tehre too. I remember thinking the Rangers had it wrapped up and was even giving my Rangers friend congratulations about it and then David Friesse.

Oh my God, I remember that series. I remember, in particular, I think it was Game 6, where one of the announcers said, “These Cardinals Just. Will. Not. Quit.” And I was thinking to myself, “No shit, Sherlock, that’s why they play the damn games!”
