Not because the tragedy of all men or anything…it’s more like that everything these people do is pathetic and petty, but there’s so much malice involved that I’m just relieved when they fuck up bad enough they disable themselves.

They’re not theater. They’re people so fucking gross and cruel and in such a hurry to do antisocial things that they pratfall in the process of being murderous and larcenous and rapey.
