The problem the left of the party doesn’t realize is it took the Depression for people to want New Deal economic policies. You’re just going to have a hard time selling them. You can cry about the party moving to the right on econ all you want but you also have to look at the circumstances that allowed FDR to implement his agenda. And you also have to acknowledge that the Democratic PArty of 2017 is far more inclusive than the one of 2007 let alone 1967.
