Those things don’t matter to wingers (and to dudebros). In the comments on a story at Mediaite about Lewis, in which he called for non-violent protests, they were calling him a race baiter, a racist, a lefty race peddler, the equivalent of Al Sharpton’s unpaid intern, a joke, etc. etc. JOHN LEWIS.

I don’t admire many people in Congress but I make an exception for Lewis. Someone who literally risked his life for civil rights. Rand Paul? Who no one would give a shit about if not for his kook father. Notta.
