I think you’re both right but Sanders did have a lot of people who voted for him simply because they hated Clinton. He’s got legit appeal but I do think he’ll struggle should he run again. There’s a lot more discontent with him now. But yes this is the struggle: left vs liberal and i put my lot in with the latter camp since it’s more inclusive.

IMO, the Left are too lazy to win the fight, because that’s too much like work. But if they take their dolls and dishes and go home - as they are prone to do - they have the ability to fuck things up.

As far as building a new party? Please. That requires actual work and committment. They can’t be bothered with that. It’s easier to sit back and whine about being cheated and how much the nasty DNC stole The Precious.
