The buffets, yeah, I guess I was distinguishing from casino buffets as compared to, like, Golden Corral. I only went to Vegas once, and that was almost 20 years ago, so it’s probably changed drastically.

Every casino back in the day would have a buffet, a diner, and a steakhouse of some sort. In the 90s it started to change, where they started bringing in outside places. Some place would have mall style food courts, others would go with a branded diner type place.

Now it kind of depends on which casino you’re at. A lot of places have celebrity chef restaurants - Gordan Ramsay has a place a Caesars and Planet Hollywood; David Chang has a place there now too but I forget where.

And it’s not like they half ass it either. The Ramsay burger place at Planet Hollywood might have one of the three or four best burgers I’ve ever ate.
