You do know that the youngs use that to signal their satanic ways, right? It’s an acronym, it means Lucifer Our Lord.

About 10 years ago, one of my students asked me, “Say……LOL means lots of love, right?” And I laughed and told her, “No, it means laugh out loud. Why?” She turned white as a ghost and said she’d just sent a text to a friend of hers whose grandmother had just passed away.

Translated into English, it was “Sorry to hear your grandma is gone. LOL”.
