Starving poor Americans won’t put any pressure on Trump; his red hats will applaud it. TSA workers in Atlanta, Chicago and a couple of other hub cities need to go on a sickout and grind air travel to a halt. THAT will end the shutdown.

But a substantial number of those impacted will be in red states. Red states tend to take more federal dollars than they give via taxes.
