Nah, they had to stay open for spring break the same reason that our own beaches here in Va Beach were open until today: Tourism dollars. When your state relies upon a flat sales tax to fund its budget, welcoming thousands of potential plague rats to party on your beaches is seen as “better” than blowing a massive hole in next year’s budget.

Must not be enough tourism dollars on that boat then.
