re: #371 eon

Tell me about it. I ran across it while in arson investigation training. Along with the other 1960’s/70’s Radical’s Handy Guide To Self-Immolation, The Anarchist’s Cookbook.

I actually used to have to deal with people who tried some of that s#!t- in furtherance of the “Glorious World People’s Socialist Revolution”. Mainly preparing the evidence exhibits for the prosecution when they went to trial.

/The Seventies were a very weird time here in OH.

cheers

I’ve heard “The Anarchists’ Cookbook” as only being useful for cooking anarchists. Supposedly, the people who wrote it never tested what they put in the book. I believe it, because they’d probably have been dead before they could finish it.

At least the Improvised Munitions Manual had been tested. It was dangerous, but as I said, if the alternative is execution as a spy, at least it gives you a chance.
