Wonder what one would do in the far North when it is weeks between Sunrise and the next Sunset? Would then the fast be determined by clock time?

I’ve never asked how they do it in places like that, but clock time sounds reasonable, since the rising & setting of the sun also affect the timing of 3 of the 5 daily prayers (pre-sunrise, post-sunset, and nightfall/complete darkness).
