A lot of my Facebook friends have been posting wingnut memes about “If you’re American, he’s your President whether you voted for him or not.” While I happen to agree - however disgustedly - with that assessment, where was that sentiment eight years ago when those same wingnuts were flipping their shit at Obama?

It goes the other way, however. Trump does not consider people like us as part of his America. He is their President. He wants nothing to do with us.
