I read a Tweet today and brought to memory something I hadn’t thought about in a couple of decades. I still remember the skirt, it was a really deep purple corduroy and it was just this side of legal at my junior high because it was culottes. But damn, I could have done without remembering the rest of it. It wasn’t until a long time later, when I was a lot older, that I thought Mr. Floyd was a fucking perv. And yeah, that’s his real name. He’s probably dead by now.
