Cripes, I had no idea this was still a thing. You’d think that the fact that literally *every* so called example of SRA has been proven to be the result of deliberate manipulation of vulnerable psyches , combined with willful self-delusion, would have put done to that hysteria.

I mean, the McMartin Preschool case involved accusations of hot air balloon rides to child sacrifices and the ritual killing of elephants and giraffes.

Christ, they even implicated Chuck the asshole Norris as a perpetrator. And, much as I hate Chuck the asshole Norris, that’s just god damned idiotic.

SRA is the deliberate manipulation of vulnerable Christian psyches.

Those who do not believe in an entity called Satan cannot be taken in by such a con. Since religions require suspension of critical thinking specifically about things like demon possession, if you can weave a plausible story about demon possession, then a religious person can be snared by it.

Note the number of atheists who believe in Satanic Ritual Abuse is zero.
