Nearly 3,000 Americans died in a single day and it’s left a cultural scar that still hasn’t gone away almost 20 years later.

Hell, over 60,000 died over nearly a decade in Vietnam and we still struggle today to grapple with the senseless lost of life.

But we’re fast approaching 100,000 dead before the end of the 3 months mark and the public’s response is basically “ho-hum.”

If you blew up one hundred thousand people in one of those stadiums by ramming a plane into it, that would get their attention.

A few people in each county gets you all those conservatives arguing it’s no big deal or comparing it to car wrecks (why aren’t liberals bellyaching about car deaths).

In fact, that’s the same argument they use for firearms deaths. They really don’t have original thoughts.
