Bret Favre is the Mississippi Roger Clemens (“Why did my balls shrink?”) of shamed elite athletes. Which just goes to show that elite athletes may also be as dumb as a box of hammers.

A friend who is a Packers fanatic told me that Bret Favre has always been a terrible person; that he didn’t care at all about stealing money from the poor. Being a great athlete doesn’t make you a decent person. He’s not dumb; he’s corrupt.
