My idea of gold is jewelry.

Sort of out of fashion with Americans these days. Gold jewelry is still a popular choice in Asia, but if you go to many a jewelry boutique here in the US today you’ll find quite a bit of silver (for the artsy, or slim wallet, crowd) or platinum group metal.
