I find abortion to be a troubling issue to say the least. I want it legal, but as a man I would never, ever, want to be responsible for an unwanted pregnancy that ended in abortion.

And of course, the best way for me (and everyone) to prevent abortions from happening too often is to use contraceptives.

Abortion is more invasive and costly and dangerous than contraception, and the latter should be preferred.

Heart surgery is more invasive and costly and dangerous than staying in shape and eating healthy, and the latter should be preferred.

It’s just another medical procedure. Let’s avoid them when we can, but be mindful that modern medical science has given us the opportunity when it’s necessary.
