How does your county tend to vote?

my county tends to not vote much. Essentially it’s Republican (the Democratic Party here very small, generally elderly, and for the most part ineffective…matter of fact, they asked me to change party affiliation to take over the county chair when the previous one died, but I declined, so another Republican took over instead).
Pretty much all county offices are decided in the (closed) primary election, so I stay registered as a Republican to be able to vote against the Libertarians pretending to be Republicans (and the other *constitutional* loons).
It would really help if absentee voting rules in Kentucky were less strict. More people would vote then because weather here on election day is definitely a factor on turnout.
