I agree with Hecuba’s daughter’s assessment.

But where you are right is Dana has been so gun heavy in thinking it is hard to see her in any other light.

Who knows, maybe those idiots at the NRA are starting to get a feel for some moderation and a bit of reality in their commenting. Mind you this would be hard to identify with all their other hard edge bullshit.

But they are going to have a real tough time ever getting back to any position that might be considered even slightly realistic and rational. They have painted themselves into such a tough-ass position they may never be able to overcome it if/when they get new leadership and need to show a different stance on guns and gun controls.
