Kerry’s supporters are just being realistic. Kerry is getting a bit long in the tooth, and while he’s a solid and knowledgeable public servant, his level of charisma would be a handicap in getting the people who keep their head’s buried up to their shoulders in their rectums between election days to turn out.

Also, he’s from Massachusetts. I say this as a person from Massachusetts, but being a Masshole basically has the same impact on a politicians chances of being elected President as feeding a cute infant to an alligator. See RMoney, Mittens and Dukakis, Michael.
