The markets might not be nearly as volatile with a competent administration; manage the risks better. A better communicator of those risks. A calm president would urge people to be careful, and adjust their expectations during this kind of crisis.

Trump’s not doing any of that. He’s in full on denial and avoidance mode and his howlers are busy claiming a conspiracy is afoot.

Also another President would not make such a personal issue about the performance of the Dow Jones and insist that he is the sole reason it had been increasing.
