But that would require self-examination and a certain amount of humility, traits which he and others like him lack. They seem only to find humility on a case-by-case basis, and then only when caught with their pants down. Once the transgression is forgotten, they’re back to the same old “I’m right, because God and country” shit.

And their admirers let them get away with it, over and over again.
