You are conflating trust with charitable foundation. This could be referring to Trumps personal revokable trust he set up in 2014. Which Don Jr and Weisslberg are trustees for. Not that it couldn’t be referring to the charitable trust, we really don’t know.

still, there are two things that are most important

- what do the cohen invoices say? who did he bill? - trump, the trump org, some other entity

- no matter who disbursed the cash, it’s still an unreported in-kind contribution to his campaign

and as long as were speculating - and i may have put my foot in it (or not)

i wonder if they actually mantain a set of books and financials for the revocable trust. it’s certainly possible.

because if they don’t then weisselberg directing whoever it is to “post to legal expenses” does imply something else
