1. The vast majority of extremist mass shootings are by right wing extremists. That’s not the same as most right wingers being extremists.

This is the lesson of “the deplorables” - you cannot point out that there are a lot of racists on the Right without everyone on the Right accusing you of calling EVERYONE on the Right racist.

HRC very carefully separated the racists, Islamophobes, and misogynists from the rest of Trump supporters when she labeled them ‘deplorables’. Trump supporters then ALIGNED THEMSELVES with the racists, Islamophobes, and misogynists by calling themselves ‘deplorables’, essentially erasing the distinction.

And, honestly, we should take them at their word.
