The whole thing is tragic. What’s more tragic are the inciters refusing to take any responsibility for the monster they’ve carefully cultivated, and the fact that today’s violence is being celebrated in the minds of wingnuts across the country.

The only regret any wingnut politicians may have, is they “got some on ‘em” and it might affect their political aspirations to look sympathetic, or even partially responsible, to the cause. But to others, they’re heroes for leading a movement of pissed off, anti-government, gun-toting freaks.

And this is precisely what they’ve been heading for.
