It is interesting that the outside spending on campaigns was not as decisive as I thought they would be. I think that it will require some re-evaluation of the impact of outside spending.

I think in a close race it can make a difference. Or Maybe if someone comes up with some really fantastic and effective ads. I’d love to see federally funded campaigns on a set budget but that’s never going to happen. Despite the rhetoric, neither side is really interested in it. There’s too much money and influence to be had.
