Let’s be honest about this. All this butthurt is because someone got some blowback and criticism (and arguably of minimal impact) due to a homophobic rant made in an interview. If anything I half suspect all this was done on purpose since it generates hype and attention for the program and the yelling pundits get to wrap themselves in the flag and wave their Bibles as they defend America.

This interview and the resulting uproar comes just in time for Christmas. What do you wanna bet the odds are that anything marked “Duck Dynasty” will be gone from the shelves by day’s end?
