Jesus, the AR10 was a pre-Vietnam relic from the Eugene Stoner days. I had no idea it was back in production.
The 7.62x51mm chambered AR-10 in various guises has been back in production since the mid-1990s. The SR-25 the article speaks of is an evolved version of the AR-10 built by Knightâs Armament Corporation of Florida. It is the last design Eugene Stoner worked on before he died and is in service with the US Army as the M110. Since the adoption of AR-10 type rifles by the Army, demand for them has skyrocketed.
