We’re back from the polling place.

From the look of it, turnout is extremely heavy so far. When we voted on primary day, we went in the noon hour and we were ballots #7 and 8. This time we went in an hour earlier, and my wife was #195 and I was #196.

There are a lot of Trumpers around here, though. I’m expecting Democrats to do well in the county races and top of the ticket. A nice long shot for us would be if Liuba Shirley took down Pete King (R-IRA), but he’s pretty firmly dug in around these parts so I’m really not expecting him to lose.

Too bad - I’m so tired of seeing his big ugly head on TV all these years.
