The staggeringly unfortunate part is that I don’t see any way that we aren’t at 3k to 5k deaths per day by early December—and that’s if no healthcare systems in any major metro collapse. We haven’t seen the deaths start to materialize for when the daily case numbers exceeded 100k, 125k, 150k, etc. etc. And Thanksgiving will likely send cases soaring, as get togethers like a 10-15 person Thanksgiving dinner are what is driving case numbers right now. I would not be at all surprised if we passed 100k deaths in December alone.

This is all pre-programmed.

And again, as an expat I usually get a bit homesick starting in the holiday season
