I don’t think it’s healthy for people to be open to being forced into conformity by shallow social pressure. I’ve seen bad results of that.

I rather disapprove of the whole process on principle.

In short, I don’t think that sort of pressure deserves the respect it gets, and I refuse to play along with it.

Your parents must be proud. Do you treat them the same way you treat people here?
