Russia is clearly an authoritarian state, and I’d daresay it won’t be much longer before it becomes outright totalitarian state - if it isn’t already.

I understand now why the USSR was allowed to fall apart into chaos in 1991…after a few years of it, the people welcomed anyone who promised law, order and pride in the Fatherland.
