I’m pretty sure that contemporary economic theory doesn’t work like chemistry.

Yet I think the biggest problem in all this is, frankly, most voters pretty much don’t care about facts.

That’s why negative adverts work, why slicksters like your local creepy evangelist stays in business, etc.

Impulse on the one hand, habit on the other. That explains our elections.
