I doubt it. This issue really gets me on a personal level though. My grandparentsā older siblings were born before their parents naturalized. Most of the men fought in WWII and one who didnāt was deemed essential because of his steel mill job and had a family already. One of my aunts worked in NYC to help the war effort too. Trump hasnāt a clue what has made this country of immigrants great.
Iāve already said why it gets me on a personal level, since my fatherās family came here as āillegal immigrantsā under the racist 1924 Immigration Act (hey, that was passed by conservatives too, who were also promoting āgreat replacementā though they didnāt call it that.)
