I doubt it. This issue really gets me on a personal level though. My grandparents’ older siblings were born before their parents naturalized. Most of the men fought in WWII and one who didn’t was deemed essential because of his steel mill job and had a family already. One of my aunts worked in NYC to help the war effort too. Trump hasn’t a clue what has made this country of immigrants great.

I’ve already said why it gets me on a personal level, since my father’s family came here as “illegal immigrants” under the racist 1924 Immigration Act (hey, that was passed by conservatives too, who were also promoting “great replacement” though they didn’t call it that.)
