re: #374 Michele: Out of the closet, Into the fire

Our local Pride Group had to cancel their Drag story time because of threats against it and the sponsor, Barnes and Noble, backing out because of said threats. That being said, I’m not into, nor do I enjoy, drag and avoid the shows they put on like the proverbial plague. But that is MY opinion and it’s one I don’t try and push on other people.

I recall my sister, who graduated High School in 1966, participating in a school musical called The Feminine Mistaque, in which all the girls and boys dressed in drag and performed musical numbers.

We all laughed and found it raucous good fun…
