I believe the cop should be punished…week or two of suspension without pay…three month stint at a boring desk job like monitoring the evidence locker…and then it’s history. I don’t believe he should be haunted by everyone on the internet…most people are just posting his info to blow off steam, but some are hoping some asshole brave/crazy/unhinged enough finds the time to act on their fantasies…and that is wrong. 100% wrong. This guy probably has a family. They, too, get put in danger when his address is published. He’s definitely got neighbors. “You torched 1245 Pleasant Street? He lives at 1254!” All sorts of bad can come of this.
