And that’s pneumonic plague, the worst kind. Transmitted by the family dog in AZ (?) IIRC. Read about it the other day. The father is in very serious condition. The dog might have been bitten by a prairie dog which carries the disease.

Does it say I’ve had a long week when I read “pneumonic” as “pneumatic” and wondered why pressurized air would cause plague. ;)
