See, my position is somewhere between the American and the Western European one. E.g. I do think that criminal punishment for a direct racial incitement is a good thing.

The slippery slope works the other way as well: Relentless haranguing by Bill O’Reilly on Dr. George Tiller led to his shooting.

Holocaust denialism falls into that area.
