The mental giants (Andy Schlafly) over at Conservapedia are trying to decide who to name Conservative of the Year for 2012. Currently in “Tentative 1st Place” are the athletes of the 2012 summer Olympics because…

The inspiring athletes are overwhelmingly conservative and outspoken in their Christian faith; displayed conservative lifestyles, charity, and patriotism.

With the added comment from Andy:

Moved to number 1 because their values and work ethic were so exemplary. Why can’t underachieving atheists learn from this?

On the talk page a user asked Andy:

Mr. Schlafly, specifically which of the 2012 Summer Olympiads are you referring to? From which country? I’m sure you’re not implying that ”every” athlete that competed in the Summer Games is a conservative. —[[User:DonnyC|DonnyC]] 19:59, 29 December 2012 (EST)

To which Andy replies:

The Olympians were predominantly Christian and conservative, and it is difficult to identify any liberal counterexamples of any significance.—[[User:Aschlafly|Andy Schlafly]] 21:14, 29 December 2012 (EST)

Andy just loves making stuff up and then claiming they are true because he says they are. After all, isn’t that how all encyclopedias are written?
