I’ve been called twice and not been selected. Not sure what I’d do if they’d call me up for the interview. Being an atheist, I have at least an intellectual objection to swearing on a Bible. Problem is, I don’t know how’d that go over with the judge.

Even on the hedonistic, evil, liberal East Coast, atheists don’t exactly go over well.

As an atheist, I’d be as happy swearing on a Bible as on a dictionary. I might, if I were feeling crabby, tell them as an atheist I thought swearing by a deity was just plain stupid.
