I would love to visit an observatory, let alone observatories, plural. A visit to some of NASA’s facilities is also on the ol’ bucket list.

It’s great stuff, and the people are always friendly and informative. Long term goal of mine-get good enough close access to one or two to photograph them in a showing of macro images. The closest artful look at the coolest parts of the thing that looks farthest away. Had a long chat with one of the guys at Palomar about the pure silver being replaced bt aluminum on the big mirror there.
