I guess Wohl’s barista told him Kamala wasn’t eligible. Really not liking Birtherism 2.0 on Kamala.

He’s recirculating the old and defeated argument that because her parents weren’t citizens they didn’t owe an allegiance to the US, and thus by some strange transitive power, neither did Kamala Harris at the time of her birth. My law school con law professor is one of the proponents of this idea and even at my most libertarian I’ve thought it a dumb idea. I’ve also come to learn that a lot of the argument is based on a deliberate misquote of Senator Turnbull during the debate on the 14th Amendment.
