Glenn Beck Screams: 'Why Don't You Just Set Us on Fire?'

How often do we see anyone on the left smack down quacks like Olbermann, Matthews, Kos. etc? Rarely, if ever. These people are ruthless, along with their other friends in the media, and they’ve even been successful in brainwashing enough of the American public into electing a President that’s never even ran a hotdog stand. For god’s sake, around 1/4 of all Americans think 9/11 was some sort of conspiracy, and all due to constantly repeated lies and propaganda. Obviously yes, it’s wrong, but they don’t eat their own like we do. KO doesn’t get called out. Matthew either. In fact, Olbermann gets guest slots on Real Time with idiot Maher.

What has me curious is why, if the left does not play by any set of rules, do blogs like this even bother to attack guys like Beck. Even if you think he’s a quack, if we ever want to *not have a spineless dem* if office, wouldn’t it be better just to shut up about GB? All playing by the rules got us lately was a drubbing in ‘06, an inept underqualified president that runs around the world apologizing to everyone, and a population of which many think 9/11 could be a conspiracy? Not saying anyone has to agree with Beck, but if he drives the loony left nuts and can get some traction and sway people with his rhetoric the way the left did with their numerous ridiculous hyperboles towards Bush/Cheney, then let him. So what? No one here is forced to listen to Beck.

I love this blog, but it seems to be more lined up with John McCain conservative style politics, which (ahem) didn’t work out too well. If we continue to play be these “rules,” then not only will the right get their azzes handed to them (again) in ‘10, but we’ll have this fool Obama again in ‘12. Remember, we can not count on the media to do it’s job anymore. It’s best we start doing what we need to do to win. The left learned this, and it worked well for them. Time for us to start playing by their rules also.

Just my two cents. :-)
