IIRC Chris Rock talked about wealthy people becoming poor, and something to the extent you mentioned.

It almost seems like the money people earn is inversely proportional to how much they think they “need.” Which is why a disproportionate amount of the rich supported Romney and the Republicans’ tax agenda; we need MOAR!
